Internal data management and inter-institutional collaborations

The Center for Neuroengineering and Therapeutics at the University of Pennsylvania is using the Pennsieve platform for all their data management and as a core component for running analysis over large scale multi-modal datasets. The CNT is a core partner in the development of the Epilepsy.Science portal and the development of tools for multi-modal data integration.

Recently, members of the CNT implemented their Epilepsy coregistration pipelines on the Pennsieve platform which allows them to coregister MRI, CT and intracranial EEG in a common framework. These efforts enables standardized analysis across patient datasets. Pennsieve significantly reduced the overhead for all students in the CNT to start analyzing data.

In addition, the CNT leads several inter-institutional projects where data is aggregated using Pennsieve and analysis are shared across clinical sites. The Pennsieve platform provides a central data management solution to bring together domain experts and data.
