Open Repositories

Pennsieve supports several repositories that accept datasets from external users.

Pennsieve supports multiple open repositories that accept new datasets from external users. Each repository is focused on a specific data, disease, or scientific domain and dataset acceptance criteria can be found in the description of the open repository.

Users can submit dataset proposals to the repository using the Pennsieve web application. Proposals are reviewed by the repository 'publishers' and the user will be informed if the proposed dataset is in scope of the selected repository. Once a dataset proposal is accepted, the user will receive credentials to upload files, and curate the dataset followed by review and publication.

Pennsieve Open Repositories can have different data requirements per repository and might have different cost structures for submitting datasets. Please refer to the repository specific information for additional information.
