What is the difference between an "Organization" and a "Workspace"?

In the Pennsieve Documentation and the App, it seems that I can belong to multiple Workspaces. However, I also see references in the Workspace to Organizations. For example, the workspace id starts with "n:org:xxx" and the API has multiple endpoints referencing organizations. Are these the same?

Can identifiable human subject data can be submitted to Pennsieve?

If not, then is there any guidance you can provide regarding de-identification of said data before submission, such as requirements from Pennsieve or support you can provide?
