Transfer ownership of a dataset
How do I make another user owner of the dataset?
Every dataset has a single dataset owner. The owner of a dataset can, in addition to the 'manager' role:
- Make a dataset publicly available, and
- Transfer ownership to another user
In order to transfer ownership to another user, this user first needs to be given standard permissions to access the dataset. You can do this by adding a user to the dataset in the Permissions panel.

To transfer ownership of the dataset, select the current role of the user that you want to transfer ownership to, and then select Make Owner.

Finally, confirm that you want to transfer ownership. Note that this is not reversible as you will no longer be the owner of the dataset once ownership is transferred!
