Accessing embargoed datasets

How do I find and access embargoed datasets on Pennsieve Discover?

Data sharing and collaboration is a critical component of scientific research. However, if a dataset is under embargo, it cannot be accessed by the public, limiting its utility and the ability of researchers to discuss and collaborate on the findings. To remedy this, Pennsieve allows users to access embargoed datasets that have been shared with them.

To do this, you can navigate to the Pennsieve Discover home page, and sign in using your Pennsieve credentials (located in the upper right hand corner).

Once you've signed in, you can access the embargoed datasets that have been shared with you by selecting the Embargoed in the Status checkbox on the left-hand menu:
