Dataset Templates

A dataset template acts as a blueprint for you to assemble your data. Dataset templates contains models, complete with properties, and relationships — but they don't contain any actual data.

Creating a Dataset Template

Only dataset Owners and Managers can create dataset templates. To get started:

1. Go to your Models page, click the ellipsis button in the top-right corner and select Create Dataset Template.

2. Click Continue

3. Name your template and provide a brief description. Once you’ve created your new template, it will be automatically saved and available to everyone in your organization when creating a new dataset.

Managing Dataset Templates

Organization Admins can manage dataset templates directly on the Organization Settings page.

Go to your Settings page. Scroll down to your Dataset Templates.

Click on the ellipsis button to the right of your template to reveal your options.
