Dataset Activity Log
How do I see all the changes made to my dataset?
Since datasets contain raw files, descriptive metadata (i.e. title, tags, keywords), and scientific metadata, there is a lot of information that can be added and changed as datasets evolve and grow over time. It can be challenging for a user to monitor and track the changes on a dataset as it is being curated and/or prepared for publication. A dataset activity log minimizes these challenges for the user by displaying all changes made in a dataset as well as the user(s) who made the changes, allowing for rapid and efficient tracking of dataset activity over time.
To see all the changes made in a dataset, you can navigate to the left-hand pane and select Activity
:

This will display all the activity on the dataset, including changes to models, records files, dataset metadata, and publishing status:

You can also filter to see the changes over time, changes by categories, or changes by individual contributors via selecting the drop-down menus at the top of the page:
